My new headphone amp, the Fender Mustang Micro Plus, arrived a day early. Can't wait to give it a spin. This modeling amp in a housing smaller than all but the most diminutive of old flip phones has been improved over an already excellent prior model.
In retrospect, it stuns me how amazing our times are compared to the centuries preceding us. The fact I could unfold a computer the size of an old Life magazine, watch videos about a gadget then order it on the same device and have it arrive from the West Coast six days later is a marvel in itself. Add to it that the order is a tiny device that acts as numerous guitar amps and effects pedals, and is managed from another handheld computer/communications device make it seem relatively magical.
