Really didn’t like how we played defense at times today. Fouled a ton and made it really easy for them to get down the floor and score relatively quickly without much resistance several times. I attribute some of it to the quick turn around. There were times I thought we were tired.
Ole Miss being infatuated with us is the strangest thing in the world to me. That was the most middle fingers and “fvck you” cutaways from the crowd I’ve seen in a long time. You can tell we were hearing it too because that’s the most we’ve talked all season long.
Every time they made a run though we would do something special to absolutely kill their momentum. That’s a very very special quality of a team playing on the road. Obviously we shot the lights out from 3 today but the ball movement to find open shooters was impressive. Miles, CBM, and Denver all hit some really really big shots.
Johni and Dylan combined to go 30 points, 25 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 blocks. That’s STRONG.
