A while ago I made a pretty lame comment about one of our leaders Luke Deal. I regret calling him a meal ticket. He is a great guy, and he truly loves Auburn. Head to toe is built to be a successful American one day. But....the guy is not consistent enough to be labeled as a reliable player and he is our leader. Which leads me to my conclusion that your leader does not have to be the best player, but he cannot be awful either. If the leader of the team is not good, then usually the entire team is not good.
This team has some talent, and I am happy with our progress, but we are still lacking leadership out there.
