Auburn baseball and head coach Butch Thompson announced Friday the Tigers’ non-conference schedule to complete the team’s 2025 slate.
The schedule begins with nine straight home games in a 12-day span, starting with a three-game series against Holy Cross from Feb. 14-16. It marks the 10th time in the last 11 seasons Opening Day has been played on The Plains.
The Tigers take on Troy and North Alabama in a double midweek on Feb. 18-19 before hosting reigning Horizon League champion Wright State for three games from Feb. 21-23.
After completing the nine-game homestand against Samford on Feb. 25, the team hits the road for the previously announcedAmegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota in Arlington, Texas, where they will take on Ohio State, Oregon State and Baylor at Globe Life Field from Feb. 28-Mar. 2.
Auburn remains on the road for a midweek matchup against UAB at Regions Field on Mar. 4 and returns home for its final non-conference series against Old Dominion from Mar. 7-9.
The Tigers will face UT-Martin in Madison, Alabama, on Mar. 11 and start the Southeastern Conference season vs. Vanderbilt at home that weekend. It’ll mark just the second time in the last five seasons the Tigers have started the conference season at Plainsman Park.
With SEC play in full swing for the rest of the season, the Tigers remaining non-conference schedule includes home midweek games against Alabama State (Mar. 18), UAB (Apr. 1), Georgia Tech (Apr. 22) and Jacksonville State (May 13), a neutral-site matchup against South Alabama in Montgomery (Mar. 25) and road contests at Georgia Tech (Apr. 8), at Jacksonville State (Apr. 15) and vs. Samford (Apr. 29).
