I am sitting in my home in Austin, Texas watching the rain pouring down, as the community prepares for possible floods and Noah came to my mind. When you were a child did the Noah story scare you to death or not? If it didn't, please share why? And how do you explain to a grandchild that the good Lord who loves you drowned all of humanity with the exception of a few people and all the animals [pets included] with the exception of a select few, so mankind could get a second chance with his relationship with God?
