New Brockton FB Player dies after practice.

Sad news this week from New Brockton, a small high school in Coffee County, AL. A football player passed away after collapsing at practice late yesterday afternoon.

I don't know what can be done, maybe push the season back a few weeks, but with schools starting earlier every year the football players are ending up with practice during the hottest time of the year, and once school starts are out there in the hottest parts of the day and these smaller schools don't have the facilities and safety protections that larger schools have to keep them cooled and hydrated.
