Gf is an events coord for a restaurant. Her day off woman calls in and makes a group reservation. Girl left in charge doesn't follow protocol and all the info she gets is first name, phone number (land line) and credit card number. Agreement is $1000 for the meal. They don't run the card until everyone is gone and it gets declined. No answer on phone, voice mails not returned. Suggestions? How do you find out who issued the card and if it is even real? My thought was go ahead and file a police report and try to track down the card issuer to give to police to find the cardholder.
