From personal experience, be careful in SA. The bars on the Riverwalk do not mess around.
Many moons ago, I had a bouncer come up to me and ask if they could speak to me. Took me towards the door and asked where my group was. I was like what... you just pulled me away from them. Told me that was it and sent me out the door.
Remember the Riverwalk is a ditch and they don't want people falling in that nasty water and drowning.
