State has an awful crowd. Looks like the entire second level is empty. And this is the best MSST team since Stanbury’s good years, and a really big game. Win and they get some Bubble talk I think.
MSST is kind of winning. Looked to be opening it up with a 9 point lead, but Alabama has a mini run and it’s been a possession or two since. 12 min to go.
Alabama is not a great team. We should never have lost to them. No reason we shouldn’t beat them down on the 21st. MSST is pretty good defensively, but aside from that not too impressive. They do play well at home (we are still their only home loss), even though fan support sucks. I think they’re a solid NIT team. Alabama just struggles for consistency. Hard to see them making the Dance with their schedule the rest of the way if they lose this one. Though the win @Florida may have given them some wiggle room.
