and not the team that went 16-5 vs quad 1. An amazing stat. I fall for it a little also as the way our guards can’t shoot at times give me the heebs and the way Broome has been shooting FTs, double yikes! That’s the thing about basketball. You don’t know what you have that day until the tip. When we played at bama earlier this year we controlled that game. Almost like bama never threatened even though they tied it for 10 seconds in the second half. Every game, just like every round of golf there is a different variable in play. So we could lose round 2 or win it all. Single elimination allows for some weird things to happen as we all know from last year’s tournament 😩.
Last year we were hot to finish the year and we all thought we would make a run only to have had a 2 pound hammer swung and score a direct hit on AU faumbily’s collective testicle.
This year we feel deflated a tad to begin the tourney and the collective AU fambily’s other testicle is praying and hoping for a different outcome.
