Son and I left Tuscaloosa after work and drove all the way through making it to Seguin Texas at 4:30a.m. Saturday. We got 4 hrs of sleep (this55yr old felt hungover) and got into SanAntonio at lunch. We had some awesome street tacos and checked out the River Walk and hung out with some great AU fans. This game definitely didn’t turn out how we wanted but guys all I will remember are all of the great memories that this AU Senior Class and Bruce have given me and my son over the last 4 years and to tap it all off a Final Four with my son was ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS. Was I upset about the loss? Yes but as long as I’ve been following AU basketball I never thought we would make one much less 2. THANKS BRUCE AND AU BASKETBALL FOR ONE OUTSTANDING YEAR AND ONE EPIC ROAD TRIP
