Last night we celebrated and today we traveled home so just now getting to this, but we're going to the Final Four! Wonderful night for the kids, the coaches, and the Auburn family. Hard to not get emotional watching it play out yesterday!

Damn we were laser focused on defense! We pushed them to the end of the shot clock almost every single possession. They hit some tough shots because almost everything they took was a tough shot. Did a phenomenal job stopping their transition. We shut it down a little bit late and they got some garbage buckets, but man we really locked those guys up. This was a national championship level effort on D.

Game plan on the other end was to get the ball to Johni early and often. State played him straight up like they always do and he was electric. Eventually they started stunting at him and then doubling. This is when we struggled a bit as we didn't shoot it great. Really never mattered though because they couldn't score on us. There was a stretch in the middle of the game where we took some bad shots and got a little stagnant, but for the most part we got good looks. To win it all, we'll need to shoot it at a higher clip.

This group has been such a joy to watch all year. The way they have navigated this gauntlet of a schedule with such ease has spoiled us all and they've really been a victim of their own success with some unrealistic expectations put on them. It is incredibly difficult to win the SEC. It is incredibly difficult to get to the Final Four. They've accomplished both of those goals with relative ease and I couldn't be more proud to be an Auburn Tiger! Two more to go to reach the ultimate goal. I will breakdown Florida in the next couple days and post a preview as well as throw out some San Antonio recs. War Damn Eagle!
