It is a special day Bunk...anytime I get to see Metallica is a special day for me but it is also bittersweet as it is the last show I have tickets to see the Four Horsemen.
This happens every couple years where i do not know when my next chance to see Metallica will be.
The boys are in the their 60s and still crushing it every night but at some point this ends and I do not know when or where.
Good news is that there is a European tour next summer so the show goes on into 2026.
With that in mind even though this will be my 38th show (LAMP) and 6th show on this tour...I am going to enjoy every minute of it.
I am going to enjoy hearing all the classics that some fans of my experience would prefer is switched out with deeper cuts.
I am going to enjoy my friends first Metallica show tonight like a proud parent.
I am going to enjoy seeing my favorite band again because, while unlikely, this could be the last time.
I love live music...it is my love language and as evidenced by my handle...I LOVE METALLICA.
I am going to enjoy tonight but I hope whatever you all are doing on this last Saturday of May...you enjoy as much as I enjoy Metallica playing live.
