Gonna have to think some more on this ... but here goes ...
- Defense defense defense. Carried us this game.
- Thank goodness we have a weeklong break to get Broome and Cardwell both healthy. Both of them being off the floor nearly cost us this game.
- Turtle with really solid minutes today. Very proud of him making the most of his chances.
- Our half court execution was TREMENDOUS, EXCEPT for the finish. Yikes on that, but on the road, that will happen sometimes, and it becomes mental.
- We just won a road game with what is likely our least efficient offensive outing of the year. Remember that. It won't happen again any time soon.
- Bruce's flex still just works wonders when we commit to it and are quick with passes. It worked 5x in a row, but we were unable to house 2 of the 5.
- The SECN ppl were talking about UGA's FT misses costing them, but our point-blank misses at the rim are what kept them in it.
- When we got up 7 under 30 the team went kind of brain dead. Weird shit happens on the road, this was no exception.
- Bruce will be very, very glad to squeak out with a win. We deserved it, earned it, but it was our most inconsistent offensive game.
