1. Alabama is 79th in defensive efficiency since the Auburn loss.
2. Alabama has played 29 games this season…in 10 of those 29 games an opposing player has scored a season high, 3 of those were career highs…
3. Not sure about this one but I believe I heard it this way….one player with a career high against bammer was Arkansas’s big man (can’t spell his name) and he scored 30 (i think I heard)…a career high for him. In his game against Auburn, he scored 0 (not sure about that, either…it was stated as fact but I didn’t verify it)
At any rate, individual and team defense is normally difficult for them EVEN WHEN THEY PLAY HARD ON DEFENSE….
They will score 80+ on us or, potentially 90+ on us if they get hot or we don’t play well defensively (think Florida game), thus the key to tomorrow for us is to playvone of our best offensive games of the season against a struggling defense.
My guess….. Auburn 96, evil empire 87
My one fear/apprehension:
An aggressive, physical game that gets away from the refs resulting in multiple players fouling out, technical fouls, or player ejections….we always seem to draw the short stick in those cases…
