Auburn senior guard Denver Jones (New Market, Ala.) was one of five players honored as USBWA Oscar Robertson National Players of the Week for games ending on Feb. 16.

The reigning Southeastern Conference Player of the Week playing for the No. 1-ranked Tigers, Jones was joined by Jalen Terry of Eastern Michigan (MAC), John Tonje of Wisconsin (Big Ten), JT Toppin of Texas Tech (Big 12) and Corey Washington of Wichita State (AAC).

Jones becomes only the third-ever player in program history to earn national player of the week honors next to Walker Kessler (2022) and Johni Broome (2024).

The United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) has expanded its national weekly honors program to now highlight five national Division I players of the week each week in conjunction with the Oscar Robertson Trophy.
