in my thread asking about our softball recruiting are some posts about scholly limits for softball. And the age old discussion on the alabama legislature refusing to allow statewide lotteries for educational funding.
I had thought that the women's teams like softball, etc. would be able to fund many more full schollies than, say baseball since Title IX was supposed to give women's programs equal funding as the men's. Given the 85 schollies just for CFB I thought women's programs received equal funding spread over the number of programs they might have.
Obviously I've been wrong in thinking this .... are the softball schollies as limited as those given in baseball?
