I am sure there are all kinds of turkey recipes on the bunk. Lets talk about smoked turkey for a minute.
I like to slather my turkey with tons of butter and herbs, rubbing it under the breast skin and all over the turkey. Then I take some fresh hot and mild Italian sausage and put those in the pan next to it along with some carrots, potatoes and onion. This creates an excellent dripping that I can baste the turkey with throughout my low and slow smoke.
