that the key to having an outstanding season in football is a top-notch quarterback. Our seasons under Lloyd Nix and Dooley, Pat Sullivan, Reggie Slack, Campbell and Newton have all led the way for successful seasons for us. In Addition, we all know that the bammers have always dominated us with their recruitment (buying) of top Quarterbacks all the way back to Bryant's first years which has contributed greatly to their overall success on the field. My point in this statement is to illustrate just how important it is going to be for us to land a top quality quarterback like Deuce Knight or someone like him to put that last piece of the puzzle together for Freeze. I believe if you look at the stats, you will see that we are a few turnovers shy of being a very good football team right now despite what many think. IMO, it's time to pony up the big bucks to get that quarterback that we need and get on with the rebuilding effort.
