Don’t act like NY did some great job. They have by far the most deaths they were a complete shit show. Didn’t protect the elderly at all. Because they were such a disaster they stayed locked down way longer and thus haven’t seen the spike like the southern states.....yet. California is also seeing a huge increase in cases, but there is a reason you are only hearing about Florida and Texas.

NYC was the perfect storm. It got the stronger Europe strain of the virus in feb and part of March. 3 million Europeans flew into NY/NJ. It spread like wildfire.
