BRUCE is a ridiculous good coach and the best recruiter AU has ever had for basketball and the curse that is auburn has drug him down and beat him into losses to miami and yale the last few years when it mattered.
BUTCH is also an elite coach who has been auburn’d into submission. alabama aimed to cripple auburn by hiring bohannon and did affect the recruiting here but managed to get wrapped in a scandal they don’t seem to have paid for. instead AU has crashed and burned.
HEW has been a coveted coach for awhile and had great success at ole miss before getting beat down by AU football.
even the softball legend that we had for a couple of years crashed out.
at some point it has to be an auburn thing rather than just a wrong coach.
