In rebuttal of those who say Hugh is a doo doo coach, I would offer up the following:

At Lambuth, Hugh’s first HC job, he was 8-4 in his 1st season and suffered a loss in the NAIA playoffs (their first appearance since ’04). The following year, he was 11-0.

At Arkansas State, he was 10-2 in his first and only year. They were 4-8 the prior year.

At Ole Miss, he went 7-6, 8-5, 9-4, 10-3 (noticing a pattern?), then 5-7 (scandal year, now it’s mostly legal + hookers are fun, so who cares?). At Ole Piss, he was 39-25 overall with a Sugar Bowl win.

At Liberty, he was 34-15 overall, 3-0 in bowl games. He coached Malik Willis, a third round draft pick QB (FROM LIBERTY FOR CHRIST’S SAKE). Of note, prior to him getting there, Liberty went 6-5 in ’17 and 6-6 in ’18.

People are punching us, and they should while we’re down. #8 class last year, #4 this year with a massive QB flip last night from ND, and currently # 1 next year. WDE, fools!
