Think that we do well on offense? IMO Hew tried this weekend to go conservative. We chastised him for the Oklahoma game for not running the ball with the lead and on Saturday he did just that. He ran the ball with the lead.
So why didn’t we win?
You could see he did everything he thought his Qb was capable of doing and went totally against what he likes to do. We threw what one pass over 20 yards? And it was a TD.
I am just curious if you were the play caller what would you do this coming weekend?
Personally my biggest problem was with guys that haven’t been our go to receivers being called on in crucial situations. Who puts those receivers on the field ? Hew or their position coach? IE dropped pass in the end zone on a jump ball and the crossing pattern to ice the game ….
I really like the new back field formation we started running….but you could tell Hew throttled everything way down and we just score 10 pts BUT with no interceptions ….
