Some time ago… there were some here, mainly from the Doom and Gloom crew, that said Gus would make Auburn Football irrelevant. It seemed like a preposterous opinion.
However, my understanding was that the insinuation was in the present tense and exclusively connected to his tenure as head coach.
I now see that it was possibly considering how much damage he would inflict on the roster and the cycle of events that would lead us to hiring a replacement that might not have immediate success.
So because of that misunderstanding, I apologize to my D&Ger fAUmbly.
