Is that we didn’t fix the offensive line this offseason through the transfer portal. Payton definitely didn’t play well, but nobody is going to look great behind that OL against an above average defense. Just look at Cal’s QB, we made him look like Tom Brady in the first half when he had time to throw, but I think he only passed for like 28 yards in the second half once we started getting pressure. At this point our personnel is what it is this season. I’m sure we’ll bring in a portal QB along with a HS recruit. Just hope we learn from our mistakes and make sure whoever is behind center is going to be protected.
