Heading up there for a couple of days in early March, I know nothing about the city. I would like recommendations on what area to stay in and where to eat. Wife, one daughter, and I are heading out on a self-guided “see Alabama” driving tour. We have spent a lot of time in the state, but there are many places we really haven’t seen. TIA
