Here's a summary of Auburn's Hugh Freeze on the SEC teleconference this week...
** This will be a big challenge for Auburn against Cal. They're throwing it around a good bit and we haven't been tested in that way with a young secondary. A good test to see how we can handle success from Week 1 and step up against a better team.
** Can't say enough about the fan support. It's one of top 3 selling points to recruits. The atmosphere, Tiger Walk and everything is so exciting.
** Cal is the same defensively from last year. They usually have a different flavor of a blitz each week. Offensively, they're totally different with new OC. Running spread tempo. They probably didn't show everything they plan to do in Week 1.
** Freeze said the Tiger Walk at Cal was what he remembers most. He said it seems like there were 10K out there. Incredible to witness. He remembers the struggles on offense and the defense playing very well. Very lucky to win the game.
