We are set to speak with Hugh Freeze as Auburn prepares to host Texas A&M in the Tigers' last game in Jordan-Hare Stadium this season.

Follow along and refresh for all updates.

*** Thanks us for working with him on the time today. Had a few things to do this morning.

*** Thought we played well. Offense and defense won third down. Didn't get any takeaways so that was disappointing. Six drives were 3-and-out. Both offense and defense started third quarter lackadaisical. The good thing is that they recognized it and owned it and bounced back. Can't do that in the future.

*** Ian Vachon did a really good job along with protection, snapper and holder.

*** Thought it was a solid day for sure against a team that was playing solid football. Hopefully it gives us confidence going into these last two SEC games. A&M is loaded with NFL talent on defense and really a problem for you.

*** Congrats to Payton Thorne on the Davey O'Brien Foundation nominee for Player of the Week.

*** Says he hasn't watched A&M's offense yet.

*** On what he can take from Saturday? "Need to get our playmakers involved early and need to win first down."

*** Temptation when playing a good defense like A&M is to keep them guessing and all of a sudden you aren't playing with great confidence with what you are doing.

*** On Ian Vachon and him being the guy ahead: "It's be hard to take it from him at this point. I think Towns is going to be outstanding, he's just a young freshman. All of our young freshmen are making mistakes."

*** On getting the ball to Cam Coleman: "I would love to absolutely answer that and say we are throwing it to him 8 times, but I don't get to disguise the coverage. It's hard to design a play where he will definitely get the ball."

*** Last home game of the season and a big senior class: "I've said it before our crowd has been incredible all year long and can't thank them enough for the support. I know they will be there loud on Saturday night."

*** On facing A&M QB, another versatile QB: "Yeah, it was something we were awful at at the beginning of the year. We have gotten better at contain."

*** On Demarcus Riddick and what he brings: "You just answered it for me. We changed when we started playing him. It's not that others were playing well in spots but someone that has the ability that can run and can tackle those dual-threat QBs has made a difference."

*** On gapping a lot: "You're always going to lean on zone schemes. They are going to fare better than the gap schemes. They can be feast or famine. There's only so many things a defense can do."

*** A question that was asked last week about re-recruiting your roster is asked by someone who wasn't here.

*** Mentions Jake Thorne (OL coach) wants the ball to come out quick against A&M

*** On continuing momentum and carryover: "Our kids have kept fighting. They have kept coming and working with our staff. I think you saw our young receivers play with a little more confidence on Saturday. Hopefully that success will breed over into great practices."

*** On Mike Elko hire and what he has accomplished at A&M and what is different about them then in the past: "I think the rosters are very similar from last year to this year. Offensively they are more multiple and do a few more things because of their dual-threat QB."

That's it for Hugh! Have a great Monday.
