For reference...look at fellow super recruiter Mario Cristobal.
He lands Cam Ward in the offseason.
His Hurricanes are sitting at 7-0 with Ward directly responsible for bringing the team back in the last 3 weeks and coming from behind to beat Va Tech, coming from behind to beat Cal, and outshooting Louisville this past weekend.
Miami is undefeated and in the thick of a playoff spot and if Cristobal didn't have Ward under center..Miami could easily be on a 3 game losing streak and hovering around .500.
There's plenty to point to and most all of it is relevant...but #1 is the inability to get a true gamer at the QB spot for AU.
And yes...It's been repeated over and over...but it NEEDS to be repeated over and over because nothing can be done about it until after the season anyway.
