It’s already been an interesting off season in the Florida Panhandle with a couple of coaching changes in Pensacola leading to some major players leaving for Niceville. Yesterday, Niceville’s coach Grant Thompson resigned after an incredible six year run. Niceville is pretty much the class of the Panhandle right now and it will be an interesting coaching search with some big names interested. If a former NHS player with coaching experience at NHS comes home, it would be with an Auburn flavor. Time will tell, but this could impact some of the high school highly recruited seniors in the Panhandle.
