How old were you when you learned to walk away from a fight?

I think my last “fist fight” was when I was 23. I’m one of those that blacked out and came to and see the carnage. I think I realized how silly it was the same time I realized that my anger could do real damage. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to walk away and let your anger out in another manner. I threw an AU baseball player through some closet doors and then through the front door and I don’t remember a thing. That’s the day Bob said enough was enough. There’s a great sense of power in walking away when someone is cussing and threatening you. Had a tenant threaten me tonight. Calmly walked away and called the cops.
