House flies and other flying pest

We have moved to a little farm and now battling flies. Those dagblamed things are driving me crazy. How do you, or can you, limit or prevent those things from entering the house? Yes, I got 8 kids and the doors are constantly being opened, but I’m looking for ideas and help. They’re driving me nutty.
