Hot water heater recommendations

Looks like I need to replace my gas hot water heater. I haven’t had to do this before.

I’d appreciate any recommendations for brands and installers/plumbers, or any general advice.

The current heater is a 50 gallon Rheem Guardian, manufactured 11/2003. The house is located in Shelby country, just off HWY 280, near Ebsco..
