Anything else come to mind? I don’t really know hockey, basketball or tennis history well enough to pull specific examples.
If he had folded yesterday, it could have completely crippled the rest of his career. Dude was at a pretty serious crossroads and he somehow pulled it out. Now he’s only 35, in great health and is still one of the longest off the tee on tour. This could possibly free him up to go on a pretty fun run, especially with his history at Quail Hollow (4x winner there), the site of the next major.
