He reads them, but he is so stubborn and prideful that whenever a good point is made that he can't refute, he and others in the thread say, "It's long" or "I didn't read it". It's a form of immaturity and intellectual dishonesty.

We can all learn from each other, and we will always be wrong. There's a cabal of guys who simply do NOT have the integrity to come back and admit when they are wrong. Stomp argues over and over and over, and ruins threads, and many times he's later proven to be wrong, beyond a shadow of a doubt, but he'll just flinch, change subjects and act as if it never happened. It's not a good look.

I know it's just a ballpark SWAG, but how many people do you believe took the new vaccines, simply because they thought they were "doing their part" for the greater good by helping us reach herd immunity, (since that was the rallying cry, rationale and manipulation button used by the leading authorities)?

Very few but you’re still getting them for the greater good. I knew you couldn’t be normal for two posts. Lol. Getting us to the level of the flu is pretty normal. Most would be ecstatic if that happened.

I believe there are many who at least claim that they did it for the greater good of achieving herd immunity. I see blazingly angry comments all over the internet each day with folks saying, "those STUPID unvaccinated people are being selfish and putting everyone else at risk. They need to get vaccinated immediately so that we can reach herd immunity before it mutates".

Most don’t know what herd immunity is. To just, it’s getting it to the flu where people aren’t wearing masks everywhere, all schools are open, concerts, etc. That’s what we are trying to get to. Get back to some normalcy. Many take it for that.

Oh yeah. You must not be aware that we can still maintain significant viral load, and spread COVID when fully vaccinated. So there's no guarantee that we will ever be able to reach herd immunity and "keep the majority safe".

They're not telling everyone that, (because they want everyone to take the mRNA vaccines), but we're going to have to wait and see if we can actually reach herd immunity. That even further erodes folks arguments that it should be mandated.
