One of the sillier defenses for an embattled coach is to say, "He hasn't forgotten how to coach."
Brian Stultz just made that remark about Auburn's baseball coach. That's true...but it also true
of the thousands of coaches who patently deserved to get fired. None of them "forgot how to coach" either.
