** Two solid days of practice. Making it as close to game week as they can to get two weeks of prep.
** Getting young guys a lot of looks on special teams.
** Dress rehearsal at Jordan-Hare Friday.
** Chip Lindsey will be on the sideline.
** Players have responded well the last two weeks. Very hot and humid. Want to get better, want to be coaches. Says a lot about character of team.
** Everybody including Marlon Davidson is back out at practice and expected to play acc'd to Gus.
** Freshman group has done a really good job.
** Big Kat Bryant and T.D. Moultry have motors and a lot of ability.
** Nick Coe has been with the ones quite a bit. Very good thing for him. Has continued to get better.
** Will have depth chart Tuesday.
** Devan Barrett and Noah Igbinoghene are getting reps at kick return. Usually go with proven guys to start the first game, however.
** Likes having extra time to prepare for the Georgia Southern offense. Still going to be tough to defend on defense.
** Offense has worked extremely hard on red zone during preseason practice.
