** Helmet Stickers of the Week: Anthony Schwartz on offense (also good on special teams), Derrick Brown on defense (dominated) and Matthew Hill on special teams (graded out the highest of any player).
** Great team win, but still have a lot of things we can improve on. Happy to be 4-0. Getting ready for a good Miss St team.
** It was a physical game. Doing as well as we can as far as health goes. Conditioning was outstanding in that game. In sun the second half and they were in shade.
** On getting on Hill during game: That was just emotion in the moment.
** That TD drive in the 4th quarter was the type you have to have to win on the road. Executed, played with great pad level, physicality. Big-time drive.
** Excellent that Bo Nix hasn't turned ball over since game one. Got too many penalties, got to improve on that.
** Hope to get Shedrick Jackson back this week. He's a good perimeter blocker.
** Schwartz has a different speed than Malzahn has seen in person. When you make a big play like that is opens up other things.
** Made some really good 1-on-1 tackles in space against good players. Tackled really well.
** Doing a great job stopping the run and running the football - that's how we win games.
** Christian Tutt is doing great job returning punts. Has a lot of courage. Think he'll return one for a TD before end of season.
** Offense has to improve execution, too many self-inflicted mistakes (20 plays with bad execution against TAMU). Defense can execute better too. We're playing hard, playing physical.
** Derrick Brown performance felt a lot like Nick Fairley back in 2010.
** Punt coverage was the best so far. Having Schwartz back on that unit helps.
** On Bo's overthrows: Rushed it on the first one, had protection bust on 2nd (Had to slide and messed up timing). On flea flicker, he just missed it. He'll improve each game.
** Spencer had a great block on Gatewood's TD pass.
** Seth Williams wasn't healthy but is an impact player.
** DJ Williams practiced tonight and looked better.
** Harold Joiner handled his role pretty good. Can't put ball on ground.
