I've been using the new taylormade TP5 lately. It's reasonably long and is soft enough for approach shots, but I do think I'm giving up a bit of distance. My buddies play either the Bridgestone 330 or the titleist pro v. Both seem a longer, but the Bridgestone doesn't appear to hold on approach shots.
I'm thinking the titleist is the best compromise.
