Chizik class rankings (average star rating):

'09: 19th (3.21)
'10: 4th (3.55)
'11: 7th (3.63)
'12: 10th (3.62)
*Average class: 10th (3.5)

Malzahn class rankings:

'13: 8th (3.54)
'14: 9th (3.56)
'15: 7th (3.7)
'16: 8th (3.65)
'17: 14th (3.33)
'18: 12th (3.67)
*Average class: 10th (3.58)

Nearly identical, right? But wait....

OL signed:
Chizik: 19 in 4 years
Malzahn: 15 in 6 years

Chizik was averaging nearly 5 OL per class. Malzahn is averaging just over 2 per class, and that includes Prince Tega who was recruited as a DE. For all of Chizik's faults, he set up Malzahn's early years to succeed by having guys like Greg Robinson, Shon Coleman, Chad Slade, Patrick Miller, Avery Young, Alex Kozan and Reese Dismukes in place to control the LOS.

And here we are a couple of weeks out from NSD, likely to sign 3, and it is very likely all 3 end up being interior guys.

tl;dr: Get some damn OT's!!!
