I don't post much here but been on here for decades. I've wondered about this for some time now so here goes. We are currently looking for commits for the 2026 class and beyond which is good but I've wondered just how much meaning that really has considering the NIL and players' tendency today to flip on their commitments. I get all warm and fuzzy when I see a commit for 2026 and then can't help but wonder just how meaningful it really is. I'd like to think that building relationships with coaches is an important aspect of recruiting and these early commitments provide an opportunity for these coaches and players time to build trust and bond with them. Thoughts??
