— 23 points between the two freshmen is better than I had hoped for
— the team’s athleticism and defensive ability might be as good or better than any team Bruce has fielded
— 4 off 22 shooting from 3-point line is not encouraging but we need Kelly back and healthy… and JP playing at his best (and that wasn’t today) to determine the ceiling for this team
— Howard could be special if he learns to shoot; he is an incredible athlete with a Hell of a motor
— Broome is as consistent as any player I’ve ever seen at Auburn….a walking double double player, his 18 points and 14 rebounds today is just nightly stuff for him. We’re going to miss him when he’s gone.
— with Harper and Brown (senior years) on this team the Final Four would be a realistic expectation…..might even be able to compete with the legendary (already) bammer team this year…
