As a casual victim of several hurricanes (Ivan and Katrina mainly) and a follower of major storms I haven't seen one ever get so strong on a track like Milton, I can't remember a major hurricane directly hitting tampa ever, there was that one year where like three hurricanes hit florida I think one of them was named Charlie? Anyway, it got down below 900 mb and it had an eyewall that was only like 4 miles wide or something? I bet the inside of that looked cool as shit if you could've gotten a camera in there.
