Edit on 3/12: With the tournament cancelled and this team likely to never play a game together again we are going to press forward and salute these young men by smoking meat and drinking alcohol or any other beverage for those that don't drink alcohol. We will play some recorded games and likely play some poker, darts, etc.. but we will not be stopped from a party by this damn virus or the SEC office. Party on dudes!!!!
In honor of the number two seed Auburn Tigers I am taking off work on Friday and starting the smoker early in the am. A buddy is coming over at lunch and we are going to drink and smoke our way through all the games. I am super excited. Later in the day I am guessing some others come over as well to rejoice in our plentiful harvest of smoked meats.
Current plans
- Smoked Boston Butt
- Smoked sausage fresh from Patak's
- Smoked wings or Turkey legs (haven't decided yet)
- This new baked bean recipe my friend is running with some jalapenos
- Hash brown casserole
- Vinegar cucumbers
- Going to make my Dad's famous BBQ sauce
Still working on more sides and on other items to smoke. Anyone have any good ideas to share?
