He is our buddy that had cancer as a little kid. We’ve (Bunker) bought him Christmas gifts several times over the years. Even took him to walk throughs before the AU vs UAB game in Bham a few years back to hang out with Bruce and the players. I’ll post some pics shortly. @bprockman_100 probably has pics I don’t, he can post those.
Anyway, our little buddy is graduating HS this year. That is just incredible, he probably should have died several times to be honest. His family (his uncle is on here but I’m not going to tag him, I’ll let him decide if he wants to comment) is awesome, especially his dad who pretty much raised the little man on his own.
We haven’t done Christmas for him in quite awhile, but I plan to again this year. Same goes for his big sister, we always include her and at least get her a gift card or two. I’ll let my wife handle that, I don’t have the first clue what to get a teenage girl.
Nobody has to chip in, that’s fully up to each person to do that. I’ll get him something regardless. But if you do want to chip in just DM me and we can work that part out. Last time we raised money and got him a $1300 drone, the kid loved it.
I mainly just wanted to post this to let everyone know he’s doing well and about to be a high school graduate.
