I have a new tract that was clear cut last hunting season, it's a mess, but I want to get some type of plots going this year. It's still green at the moment and full of debris and stumps. Anyone tried to plant in conditions like this? Was thinking about spraying and broadcasting some wheat , oats and rye into it. Not sure how much soil contact I'll get that way. Any advice?
