Who are you supporting now in this most important election?
As someone who voted for Dr. Paul in each of the last two elections, I felt Rand had what it takes to appeal to libertarians and conservatives alike. Unfortunately, Rand isn't a fit for national elections and failed. There will come a day when the Republican Party can no longer afford to recognize the younger libertarian faction of the party.
With that being said, I'm putting my support behind Marco Rubio. Prior to my ideological evolution into a libertarian, I had the opportunity to work Rubio's first Senate campaign and believe he's fit to be president. I don't agree with his entire platform, but I recognize that losing this election is not an option.
For those, "I'm going to show the RNC...." types that refused to vote for "establishment candidate", Mitt Romney, I hope you titty babies enjoyed these last two years.
I hope Jay allows this post to remain in the spirit of the election and due to the fact that this isn't a Libs vs spuds discussion.
