So many thoughts on this…
1. How are minorities not incredibly offended by stuff like this? I mean, this essentially is saying the NCAA thinks minorities are not as intelligent.
2. How exactly does this help racial diversity when the vast majority of football and basketball players are minorities?
3. I can’t wait until college football breaks away from the NCAA so they can stop pretending that “student athletes” aren’t minor league football players.
4. Lowering standards doesn’t actually help anything, but unfortunately that is our answer these days; instead of setting higher expectations and goals so people can improve, we’ll just bring standards down to make it look like we are getting better when we are getting worse. At this point, why even have admittance standards?
