I'm admittedly a bit of a coffee nut/snob. For years I've made each cup individually with a pour over, french press, or aeropress (still own and use all 3 regularly). My wife won't go to the effort and (I'm ashamed to admit) uses a Keurig with ground beans in a re-filable pod. In an effort to satisfy us both, I bought a Moccamaster yesterday--$300. Took it out of the box and the on/off button is broken so I have to exchange or return it. I'm getting cold feet about this investment now. Anyone have an opinion? Am I going to be (once again) disappointed with a drip maker compared to pour over--even one that mimics pour over and is consistently rated the best on the market?
Drivel season--coffee lovers--Moccamaster machine?...
