Does anyone know the reason Dennis Franchione refused to shake hands with Nick Saban after the 2002 Alabama-LSU game.

It was in Baton Rouge. Alabama won 31-0.

I remember it being minor “news” at the time that Fran refused to shake hands with Nick at midfield after the game. Nick attempted a brief exchange and Fran rebuffed him. Does anyone remember the origin of this feud?
